Complaining about South African Airways

In order to log a complaint with South African Airways you will need to have access to:

  • Your Booking Number
  • Your Ticket Number
  • Any Evidence you have

To make a complaint with South African Airways there are two methods:

  • By Phone
  • By E-mail

South African Airways is a member of AviationADR, which is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to provide alternative dispute resolution services in the aviation sector. If South African Airways rejects your complaint or fails to respond within 8 weeks, you will be able to take your complain to AviationADR free of charge. AviationADR will review your complaint and the airlines response and produce a written determination which will be binding on the airline.
